About JA Saskatchewan

Founded in 1977, Junior Achievement of Saskatchewan (JA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about financial literacy, diversity, business and economics. The Junior Achievement experience helps youth discover leadership, entrepreneurship and develop workforce readiness skills so they can achieve their highest potential.

Our unique programs allow students to experience and understand business, preparing them for leadership. They enable young people to gain financial responsibility, make confident decisions and become innovators. Many people know about Junior Achievement’s “Company Program” where high school students start their own businesses, but JA also offers seven other business and financial literacy programs to elementary and high schools across Saskatchewan. Last school year, JA reached over 21,000 students in communities large and small in our province.
